RDA GW Chair Applications - 1 Week Till Applications Close

REGIONAL Development Australia Greater Whitsundays (RDA GW) are now accepting applications for volunteer chair.

RDA GW is made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business, and community groups to support economic and workforce development, local procurement, strategic regional planning and inform government programs and infrastructure investments.

The committee is part of a national network of 52 committees across Australia, including the Indian Ocean Territories and Norfolk Island.

The appointment is a hands-on role and requires a local leader who is able to think strategically and deliver on outcomes.

RDA GW Committee Acting Chair Jeff Stewart-Harris strongly encouraged local community and business leaders with expertise and desire to generate economic growth opportunities for our region to apply.

“This is a great opportunity for individuals, passionate about advocating for our region.” said Mr. Stewart-Harris.

“Applicants can take confidence in the fact that we are looking to also ensure a balanced gender perspective and diverse representation around the table as we see this as key for getting well-rounded outcomes.”

“The stronger our RDA committee, the stronger our communities become.”

Applications close 5pm AEDT Friday December 9, 2022
